- America: The New Order like other in-universe fictional works of Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is a parody of an iconic film, in this case the Triumph of the Will.
- Subtitle "The New Order" is reference to Wolfenstein: The New Order.
- The overview of the film is a reference to the controversial 1915 D.W. Griffith silent movie “Birth of a Nation”, in that both revolve around the building of a new home in a war-torn setting, and both promote bigoted ideals.
