Chateau Schufstaffel (location)

The Chateau Schufstaffel.

The Chateau Schufstaffel is located just outside of Paderborn. The Dark Knight Ceremony was to take place in the Unhallowed Ground not far from the Chateau.

Strangely, the Chateau has no alarms, though the mission briefing informs you that if the alarms in Paderborn are triggered, the Chateau will be in full alert.

The Chateau's fate is currently unknown. It was possibly abandoned after the failure of Operation Resurrection or got a new owner.

Trivia

• In the German version, the place is called Langenfeld Mansion to avoid referencing the Schutzstaffel.
• The word "Schufstaffel" has no meaning in German. It is likely that the name is misspelled.
• This is one of several missions in which the phrase "According to Otto..." can be heard being spoken by Germans, in this case two officers by a fireplace. Otto is an unknown German, most likely a soldier, who is noted to "talk too much for his own good" so he is constantly being referenced as having told someone else something.
