Allusions to Wolfenstein in Doom

• The original protagonist of Doom is implied in Wolfenstein RPG to be a descendant of BJ Blazkowicz, giving him the title "Sargeant Blazkowicz".
• The Cyberdemon was remodeled to be the Harbinger of Doom, the final boss of Wolfenstein RPG.
• E1M4 originally contained a room shaped like a swastika. John Romero stated that this was intended as a homage to Wolfenstein 3D, however subsequent releases of the game removed the potentially offensive symbol.

• Two secret levels, titled "Wolfenstein" and "Grosse", recreate Wolfenstein 3D levels Episode 1, Floor 1 and Episode 1, Floor 9.
• The enemies that appear in the above levels are mostly replaced with standard Doom enemies, however the SS is preserved as Wolfenstein SS.
