- "Berlin, Eisenwald Prison. But you’ll never make it there."
- ―Friedrich Keller to B.J. on where the resistance are held.[src]
Eisenwald (German for "Iron Forest") Prison is in Berlin and holds enemies of the Nazi regime.
Overview[]
As the most notorious prison in Berlin, Eisenwald holds not only hardcore criminals, but also the more subversive elements that still exist in the city. According to the authorities, there has never been a successful escape attempt since its opening in 1949. However, according to Caroline, a few years before the events of the New Order, a group of prisoners attempted to escape the prison with valuables using the sewer systems beneath, but they did not get very far.
Zellenblock B[]
The B block is where the Nazis incarcerated political prisoners and resistance fighters. The block has been outfitted with special torture chambers where the Secret Police regularly interrogate the prisoners. The key story character, Fergus or Wyatt, was locked up in Zellenblock B-2 before B.J.'s arrival.
The New Order[]
After arriving in Berlin, B.J. manages to sneak into a prisoner transport in order to get into Eisenwald. Once there, he sneaks past the entrance, taking out security guards and personnel within the prison. He narrowly avoids being eaten by a panzerhund before getting into Zellenblock B. Once there, he manages to free either Fergus or Wyatt before inciting a mass prison riot. They fight their way out of the prison before reaching the Kreisau Circle's hideout.
The New Colossus[]
Due to the human resources crisis after B.J.'s rampage in the Moon Base, some soldiers in Eisenwald prison are recruited to Venus base to compensate for the loss of the majority of Weltraummarinesoldaten and one of them recalled the event when B.J. broke out Fergus/Wyatt and others prisoners out of Eisenwald with Anya. Ironically, the soldier who recalled the event is killed by B.J. during his infiltration in Venus.

Trivia[]
- The layout of Zellenblock B appears to be inspired by the Panopticon, a hypothetical prison idea which would allow for all prisoners to be monitors at any time.
