Episode 6, Floor 10 is the secret level of Wolfenstein 3D episode "Confrontation". The level is accessed from Floor 3 and exits to Floor 4. It is remarkable in the fact that it brings together all possible kinds of enemies in Wolfenstein 3D except for 5 bosses and Fake Hitlers.
Strategy[]
The exit is immediately in the same central area as the start but you need a gold key. You can get one by navigating any of the four quadrants except the one with green slime walls, but in each case you must defeat a Hans Grosse, which is mandatory for level completion. You only have to visit one of the three non-slime quadrants to get the required key. Once you have the key return to the locked door at the start and the elevator (plus a couple mutants) is immediately behind it.
If you choose to navigate the green slime section be extremely careful. There are several mazes filled with mutants and all the mutants in each maze can hear you if you fire any shot and will start wandering the maze trying to find you which leads to a high level a danger.
Secrets[]
While the green slime section does not contain a boss you can fight to finish the level, its southern portion contains a huge chain of secrets. If they are pushed correctly you will reveal up to five extra lives (one area with three and another with two behind a door). There is also a Pacman ghost in the area with two extra lives! In the entry room of this same quadrant (where five doors are visible) there are also two secrets on the side of the room closest to the starting hub area.
Only one of the three other quadrants contain any secrets, and that secret is in the room where Hans appears, hiding two extra lives.
The Hans Grosse in the left section of the map is both blind and deaf. Only shooting him directly will activate him. (This is seemingly a deliberate handicap due to that section of the map having many Officers and Mutants to fight and not a lot of ammo.)
