Research assistant Gottfried Winkler is a Helga's translator and archaeologist mentioned in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
He made a note about the object #12-1 from the Wulfburg dig and Ernst Ziegler's unfortunate experiments with it. The note is seen in Helga's office in the Castle Wolfenstein. He also made a couple of translations for Helga of old German texts including Abu Rayhan al-Biruni's and King Otto's letters. It's possible that the translations of the notes from scholars of King Otto seen in Rudi Jäger's secret room also were made by him.
