Kobra
The Bachem Ba317 "Kobra" is an experimental rocket plane developed by the Nazis. In Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the plane is commandeered by BJ Blazkowicz during mission Air Base Assault for return back to the OSA Headquarter into the military for more analyze.
Trivia[]
- The Kobra rocket plane actually seems to be based on a Bachem Ba 349 Natter ("Viper"). These aircraft could fly for a maximum of less than three minutes, and in real life the first and only manned vertical launch was in March 1945 and resulted in the death of the test pilot.
