The Klasse B Nachtfalter (lit. "Class B Moth") is a class of Zeppelins for the German Armed Forces which appear in Wolfenstein: Youngblood. The lead Zeppelin of this class, the eponymous Nachtfalter, is the setting for the first mission of Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Nachtfalter-Class Overview[]

The Nachtfalter-class Zeppelins is the current class of Zeppelin for the German Armed Forces in the 1980s. Developed after the loss of the American Territories, multiple Nachtfalter-class Zeppelins are seen in the airspace over Paris. They act as central nodes in the Nazi response to restore order within Neu-Paris after the outbreak of the Paris uprising.

In a diorama found in Brother 2, two Nachtfalter-class Zeppelins are shown escorting a Walpurgisnacht-class Zeppelin in the airspace above Paris.

Nachtfalter Overview[]

The setting of the first mission for Youngblood, Nachtfalter was the former mobile command post for SS-Oberstgruppenfuhrer Walter Winkler in his attempt to purge Paris of any remaining loyalist of SS-Oberstgruppenführer Lothar Brandt and to suppress the Resistance activities.

After the fight between General Winkler and the Terror Twins. General Winkler was sucked into the zeppelin's starbord-side engine, causing the Nachtfalter to crash in the city of Neu-Paris, on the banks of the River Seine.

Facilities[]

Nachtfalter is comprised of multiple decks, with each deck being further compartmentalize into smaller areas. While the working area of the Nachtfalter, such as the crew quarters, its gun decks, engineering and propulsion spaces and its bridge, are utilitarian and spartan, reflecting is status as a combat Zeppelin for the German Armed Foces. There is considerable volume of space given over to several ostentation and luxurious decks and compartments, likely for the use and comfort of important party officials and high ranking officers. It is unknown if any other Nachtfalter-class Zeppelins share this design, or if the Nachtfalter was built with these luxuries in mind to act as Flagship or VIP Transport.

Nachtfalter filmklub[]

You can see various posters of movies produced in Nazi Germany. There is also a cinema to watch movies, player can't watch movies here, however.

Karaoke-Sauna[]

There are four cabins of Karaoke-Sauna in the ship, which looks like Karaoke in Sauna room. It is available to sing songs of artists like Die Käfer, Hans, Karl & Karla, etc.

Meilen Hoch Restaurant[]

Classy Restaurant with bars and buffet. The restaurant is one of the biggest facilities in the ship. When Blazcowicz sisters got onboard the ship, there were Sushi-Buffet available. All of the food here is health item.

Die Schwarze Pyramide[]

This is casino bar with games like Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, all attended by black casino robots. Looks like there are also live music band concert was often taken place here. There are some arcade games here, but all of it seems like technologically backwards than Wolfstone. Titles are Ziegelturm, Froschpatsch, Wurstwurm, Superschlag, and Raketenabwehr.
