The Scorpions is the fighting group formed by Captain Gerald Wilkins and The Owl (under the pseudonym “Clive Cross”) after the failed D-day attacks.
After decades of fighting a losing war against the Nazis both before and after the occupation of the US, the group was eventually disbanded with most of the members were dead or missing.
It is possible that The Owl brought the destruction of the group due to his ties with the Nazis.
