The Snipers are the type of enemy variant of the Soldier in the Wolfenstein: Youngblood. They are primarily armed with a Sturmgewehr in marksman setup and wear heavy armour that resembles that of their 1960‘s counterpart.

Overview

As opposed to the relatively weak Marksman soldiers of the late 1940s, the Wehrmacht snipers of the 1980s are dressed in outfits reminiscent of the heavy armor used by elite soldiers of the Reich in 1961. Complementing their use of the Sturmgewehr marksman variante is an advanced tactical visor, an upgraded version of the ocular masks used by Marksmen from the 1940s and 1960s.

• The Sichtssoldat’s visor is a callout to Cyberpunk classics such as Ghost In The Shell.
• At First it was believed that the Sniper would use a Bombenschuss rather than an Sturmgewehr.
