The Spindly Torque is a massive, spherical antigravity weapon invented by the Da'at Yichud. When activated via a button on its top, it hovers in the air before swiftly shooting out a series of long cables which penetrate nearly anything around them. Once penetration has been achieved, the device twists in on itself and retracts its cables to tear apart whatever structures it has latched onto. One was used to destroy the Gilbraltar Bridge, and another to breach the wall at Deathshead's Compound. It is unknown if the spheres are recoverable after use, though the fact that it is used twice implies that it is. The weapon is completely absent during the event of the New Colossus, suggesting that they might not be in the possession of the Kreisau Circle (MachineGames).
Wolfenstein: The New Order[]
After capturing the Eva's Hammer, B.J. Blazkowicz, Set Roth and either person (Fergus Reid or Probst Wyatt III) descend below the Atlantic Ocean where they access the Da'at Yichud safe keep where they find several devices. Among these devices is the Spindly Torque, which they use on the Gibraltar Bridge and, later, on Deathshead's Compound.
