"Good day!" and "Good morning!"[]
The words from Wolfenstein 3D and related games are so vague, so difficult to understand. Different (unofficial) sources give different words, and different translations of those words. Some time ago I revamped the "Quotes" section for each and every enemy. I left absolutely nothing to speculation, instead providing an official source for every quote: hint books and guides. If there was an error, I left it unchanged. The text that was displayed was that officially given by Id (or Formgen, in the case of the Lost Episodes).
This article, however, is very troublesome because "Guten tag!" does not translate to "Good morning!" as the book said. It's completely false. Still, I want to leave the reference there, stating that "the official translation is this". Furthermore, I would find it wholly unacceptable for the translation to be changed but the reference to remain - the source does not say "Good day!".
I am open to suggestions about rewording this section but I very much want it to continue to say "Good morning", incorrect as it may be. Thisismyrofl (talk) 23:18, June 15, 2013 (UTC)
